After more than 16 years at Wong & Partners, Baker McKenzie's Malaysian member firm, where Hsian worked on Corporate M&A and Corporate Real Estate matters in Malaysia and across Asia Pacific, a decision was made to set up a boutique outfit to provide Quality Services primarily in the practice areas of Corporate and Corporate Real Estate, to existing and new Clients.
YONG HSIAN SIONG
Hsian has in excess of 20 years of experience assisting clients, both international and Malaysian, with their investments and transaction in Malaysia and across other jurisdictions in Asia Pacific.
Hsian assists clients with Corporate M&A as well as Corporate Real Estate transactions, having worked on acquisitions and divestitures of share and asset transactions, joint ventures, take-overs, corporate reorganisations & corporate restructuring and providing advice on legal matters relating to operational issues, securities law, and company law related matters.
With respect to Corporate Real Estate transactions, Hsian regularly advises on sale and purchase of real property, leases, build-to-suits and also has expertise advising on hospitality documentation. In addition, Hsian assists Developers and Asset Owners and Operators, with advice on laws relating to property development, stratification and strata management issues.
Clients include public and private corporations, MNCs, funds and asset owners and users.
Prior to his stint with the Malaysian member firm of an International Law Firm, where he was a Partner in the Corporate & Securities Department and Head of the Real Estate Practice Group and Korea Focus Group, Hsian was Legal Counsel for a US MNC and prior to that, spent 7+ years in the Corporate Departments of other leading Malaysian law firms.
